Body appreciation post
We are currently on a trip to visit family and tonight as I was fixing my hair I thought back to all the years I’d spent getting ready to go out and taking selfies in this bathroom I first step foot in 13 years ago.
It was crazy to think of everything that has happened since then. Marriage, retirement and a baby specifically.
These first few months of motherhood have been difficult to find time for myself with a baby that suffers from reflux and colic. So working out to get back into pre-baby shape has taken a back seat. Considering I used to be a ballerina, my self confidence has taken somewhat of a hit.
So I decided to selfie and I have to admit, now I’m kind of feeling like I still got it! 💁🏻♀️

Moms, we’ve got to cut ourselves some slack. Sometimes we may feel like total crap... being sleep deprived, spit up all over and not having showered in days, but we’ve still got it. Sometimes it just takes a little attitude or sass to make you realize that 😘.
