Birth Control Recommendations?

I’m newly sexually active and my mom really wants me on birth control. I know this sounds dumb but I read that birth control decreases your sex drive and I really wanna keep that 😣 I also read that it can make you really emotional and hormonal which I don’t need that kind of stress in my life either. 
Are there any types of birth control that doesn’t do any of that? Or am I screwed either way?

birth control affects differently depending on the person. i’d say try out some for a few months and see how you like it. i’ve been on the pill before and i really liked it, it helped get rid of my acne, didn’t really effect my sex drive, from what i remembo only got emotional on my lady days but i think that’s normal lol the only thing i didn’t like about it it’s that i had to take it every day

Please do not get the Depo-provera shot !! 
I will never recommend any female to have this as their contraceptive. I only had one shot, killed my sex drive, constant headaches, emotional roller coaster every day and I’ve been having trouble with my period for 8 months after it ran out (12 week period)

There are natural ways that show when you are more likely to be fertile. Go on YouTube and do your research. When in doubt use a condom.
