Recommended DSLR camera for photography?

I’m leaning towards Canon but either Nikon or Canon. Which camera model should I get with what recommended lens for beginner photography with high quality. Thank you.

That really depends on your goals, budget, and what you’ll be photographing. A 50mm 1.8 lens is every portrait beginners first bff but if you’re not interested in portraits, a different lens would be a better start. You tube has tons of help, I advise watching a lot of videos and going from there.

I just bought a Nikon D3500. I love it so far. I am in college and in a digital photography class and it is going to get me through that wonderfully. It’s been hard to learn all of the features but once you learn something new you get hooked on learning more about ways you can test your skills, especially at the beginner level.

I highly recommend canon! I started out on a Canon T5 5 years ago and upgraded to a Canon 70D 3 years ago. I am in love with my camera, does a phenomenal job. The 70D has WiFi and can easily connect to my iPhone and transfer the photos in minutes. My favorite lens to use is my fixed 50mm! This lens is great for portrait shots. Learn how to shoot in manual, it’s so worth it and you won’t regret it!
