I think I have bacterial vaginosis

So I think I have BV. After doing tons of research and doctors visits. I’m almost 20 weeks pregnant. My OB didn’t seem worried when I mentioned my symptoms. but I’ve switched doctors since then so I’m going to bring it up at my appointment on Thursday.

My question is,

how do they test for it?

Will the smell down there go away after I get treated?

It’s made me really self conscious and I have extreme anxiety so I’m really scared to bring it up. Please give me as much reassurance as possible 🙃
