So Jan 11th I had a doc app bcuhz I was due Jan 7th & still no baby. During my visit I was checked like all visits & doc told me I was 4cm dilated asked me was I feeling any contractions & I told her no . Then asked me if I had my hospital bag in the car & car seat. I told her yes , she told me from my visit go straight to labor & delivery don't stop at home. So I made a few text & arrived at l&d around 5ish. Got monitored & checked there where probably a hour later my nurse told me " you aren't going anywhere you gonna have this baby" I was excited & so ready . Around 8 got moved to my room for l&d & was at 5cm & was told they wanted me to do some walking to induce labor . So had about 3 rounds of walking around the second floor . Went back to my room they wanted to check me again, I was at 6 cm was told at 7cm is considered active labor & they wanted to break my bag to speed things up & get them going. So around 1 my bag is broken by the nurse . Shit hurt . & I start to feel heavy contractions but tolerable by 2 / 3 I ask for the iv pain meds . Felt them right away . Thank God for that it really helped me get through it. I felt weird but good sleepy & would wake up in the midst of dreaming lol it's crazy. But meds wore off 55 mins later . I watched the clock lol . When the meds wore of the contractions were strong but I felt like I had it, just breathe. I don't even know whilst time it was when the nurse had me move on my side then all of a sudden . Bam ! I have get hot & feel faint & like I'm about to swear I tell the nurse . When I get a urge to push out of nowhere & I tell her " im sorry but I have to push I can help it " im pushing still on my side & she asks me to lie back on my back I give her the finger like wait I can't . Without words lol. Then after the contraction passes I turn back onto my back. Then I just see a army of staff rush in & start setting up. Long story short about 5-7 pushes later my baby was born at 5:08 am on Jan 12th. No epidural 🙏🏽🙌🏾
