Has anyone ever tried Flex?
I recently got the starter box of Flex to try just because they had a deal for the first box and it sounded like it could possibly be better than tampons which I normally use. If you've never heard of Flex is not a cup but a disposable menstrual disc, and the benefits that stood out to me is that it says it can hold up to 12 hours, it can reduce menstrual cramps (and mine are usually pretty bad either throwing up or just getting by taking motrin), and another bonus for me was that you could have sex while using this 😍😉
I tried it a couple times but it was pretty uncomfortable at first and I had a hard time figuring it out but I finally used it for my entire period which normally lasts 5-6 days now for me and that was last month, it went pretty well it was easier to figure out aside from one of the times removing it, the 5 minutes that seemed to last a while when it was stuck and I started to panic when I couldn't get it out at first 😟 I read through the pamphlet more and tried some other positions to release and finally did. This time around this month I did it again because honestly 12 hours is much nicer than the average 5-7 for me, so this time around I finally have the placement of it down 👍🏻 but the second day in I was at work and had it in for 6 hours at this point and I started spotting pretty badly so I asked around for a tampon because I wasn't prepared of course...but the worst part of it was having to change it in a public bathroom in a stall where there is no sink and this isnt exactly a process where you can keep your hands clean during the process 😖 and then this happened again the following day thankfully I was home though.
I was really starting to like this Flex thing but now I don't know if maybe I'm doing something wrong or is it just me, has anyone ever used this, thoughts please?
Thank ya 😁🤔
