Should I wait to have sex for the first time with someone I love? Or just let it happen if the moments arrives with some guy? Does it matter now a days? I just don't know!

I tried to have sex before with someone that I knew I didn't love and that he didn't love me and I physically couldn't. I cried and it hurt. I met my boyfriend and I was really worried I'd never be able to show him that I loved him in a sexual way but when the time came that we both felt ready it was amazing and there were no tears. I guess what I'm saying is you need to feel safe and secure and definitely not feel like you are forced into it. Only do it if you feel ready :3

What are you waiting for? If it is because you don't feel ready then yes you definitely should wait. If you are in a stable, loving relationship and you both feel ready then why would you wait? (Assuming of course, you are both of the legal age which is 16 here in Scotland).

It absolutely matters, wait for someone who you don't feel pressured by, someone who values you, loves you back, and definitely someone who even if you don't end up with you can look back and say "I'm glad that's the person who I lost my virginity to." I know society makes sex seem so nonchalant, and given sex is awesome...but the first time isn't always perfect, so make sure the guy is pretty special at least.
