How many people did not respond to clomid 50mg but did respond to a higher dose?

I did not react to 50, 100, or 150mg. I got my bfp on my first round of 5mg of letrozole.

My OBGYN said that they always start women at the 50mg dose just because it is such a strong medication with potentially serious side effects, they want to hope that your body responds to as little as possible. He said most women respond to 100mg, but trying one treatment of 50mg is worth it.

I reacted/ovulated on 50mg of clomid but no pregnancy, now I'm in the TWW with my first month of femara at 5mg

My first cycle I did 50mg and the hot flashes and irritability were bad but we got two mature eggs. The second cycle we did 100mg  side effects weren't as bad and we only got 1 egg. My doctor said that's normal and if we aren't successful this time we will still continue to raise it. Good luck!!
