Coworkers getting on my case about eating

So I eat every 2 hours during the day. Small amounts. Nothing over the top.

I actually have just started to track my calories, carbs, and fat in the my fitness pal tracker.

My coworkers are really nosy. I work a desk job, in a similar situation as a call center, only we type all day. Two coworkers are all “ya girl, you feed that baby!” And it’s cute. The other lady is always on my case about “there you go eating again!” I’m like, hello, I’ve told people I’m pregnant. I’m not binge eating candy or breads. Get off my case! I’m hungry.

Why do people think it’s acceptable to be negative about eating. I’m already 20 lbs over weight and conscious about not gaining some exorbitant amount of weight.

Thoughts? Thanks!!

🙄 my co workers are similar sometimes. I work in an ER and in between patients sometimes I get a snack. Nothing crazy, celery, yogurt, fruit, pretzels. But they make comments too “snacking again?” Like yes I’m snacking again Susan shut your mouth ✋🏼🙃

People are so insensitive and ignorant. Try to ignore them. Pregnancy seems to invite all sorts of comments that really should never be made.

Tell them to hush it up and mind their own business! I’m the same, don’t want to gain too much weight. Well after I told some people at work I got a comment about oh you’re being healthy bc of the baby (bc I got a salad for lunch) heck if I wasn’t pregnant no one would say anything. It sucks that it’s something people have to notice and comment on but I try and use a little sarcasm sometimes too. “Hey, what’d you get for lunch”? My reply- food. Ha!

Right? I’ll usually make some sassy comment like “well the baby ate this part and I had only this section. She’s greedy ya know!”
