Did you stop breastfeeding when baby was 1..

Please comment how did you stop and what did you give baby than  ... I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I want to end my journey soon please dont judge.! Its been a amazing experience but this momma is having issues now.

The pediatrician said we could give him cows milk.  We let him try it. He loved it. About a week after he had no interest in breastfeeding.  🤷‍♀️. I was going to go a like longer but he stoped on his own.

I literally just stopped putting him on my breast. By the time he was 1 he was already eating table food, so breast milk wasn’t his main source of nutrition anymore. To drink he had almond milk.

I stopped bf at different times with my kids, one at 4 months, 5 months and 11 months. I had already introduced them to formula so I kind of just stopped giving them breast and got a bottle of formula instead.

I started weaning by 12 months but wasn’t completely done until about 13/14 months with both of my kids. I did it slowly.

My first stopped no problem at one when we substituted milk. 
My second would never take a bottle and was basically EBF. Over the course of a month and a half, I weaned down to only breastfeeding at night. I was breastfeeding four times a day. I first cut out one feeding during late morning. Next cut out afternoon nursing. I then stopped the morning nursing and would immediately take baby for breakfast upon waking. We now breastfeed strictly before bedtime at night. That will be the final one we drop. She’s 13 months..almost 14. Hoping to be done by 15 months. 
I missed it after stopping with my son so I’m trying to appreciate it right now. It’s definitely a sacrifice.
