So I have been with my husband for 6 years I’ve known them for almost 8 years, my step son is almost 12, we have been talking about having a baby for a while now. My step son and I have a good relationship he even calls me mom I love him very much, but I’m worried that when I have a baby my husband and son will resent me if I’m “closer” to him or her not that I intend to be like this but I wasn’t around my step son when he was a baby so we don’t have that bond. He says he won’t resent me but I’m not so sure I’m worried if me and my child cuddle more than my step son and I, I don’t want to be resented over something that is natural 😕
