Is it stupid to break up with your boyfriend if he doesn’t do his work even if you’ve expressed how you feel about it?

I’ve repeatedly talked to my boyfriend about how doing your work or at least attempting to means a lot to me because you’re creating your future and I feel you need to set yourself up for success, he ignores what I say, I’ve even tried to help in any way possible, and he just doesn’t do it, with 2 years left in high school and no plan, I feel like he’s setting himself up for failure

You guys are really young. When I was your age I didn’t know what to do with my life either. But listen if you love him don’t break up with him, you two have to push each other to be the best version of yourselves, that’s what a healthy relationship is about. Guide him, men don’t always fall in love, but when they do is completely real. If a man is in love with you,; you can do whatever you want with him so be smart a do good on him, for your future, for your love. If this is real don’t give up that easily specially because he’s young, he’s immature and he’s just starting to live..

You need to do what’s best for you. But in his defence, there’s a lot of people who don’t know what they want to do with their lives after graduation, let alone two years of high school left.

Honestly it seems like you’re kinda acting like you’re his mum. Encourage him and support him yes. Don’t dump him because he’s not doing hw. 
It’s not your job to make sure he gets a good job. It’s his mums job to ground him or something if he doesn’t do the work. 
Dump him if it’s affecting you that much that he doesn’t do his hw but it’s not the end of the world, most people didn’t do great with keeping on top of homework either. 
But like I said, encourage him don’t mother him. & if you really can’t stand the no hw thing than you’ll have to move on.
But if you can stay showing him that you’ll be with him even when it’s tough and he’s struggling to stay motivated will probably do the world of good.

No not at all. My little sister had a boyfriend who was a total loser and she didn’t see it. I liked the guy he was very nice but he was so lazy. He was 21 and he didn’t want to get a job because he didn’t want to wake up early. His words. My sister got him a job with our uncle and after two weeks he was fired because he left to lunch and took 2 hour break. He said his dream job was to be a janitor. No shame in that but he had the chance to go to college he said school is for losers. She finally grew tired and broke up with him. He’s begging to come back because he had it all with her. He paid for everything he paid no rent nothing. Didn’t have to work.
