Gender blood test?

Have my 12 week scan on Friday, I’m having all the first trimester screening too. Am I able to ask for a blood test for the gender or would I have to pay? 🤔🤔

This wouldn’t be provided by the NHS but I suppose you could pay private and have it done or wait till 16 weeks and have a scan done instead x

You have to pay we paid for harmony test (NIPT) you could find out gender that cost us £500, but we didn’t do it for gender tho as we wanted a surprise but we had high risk for downs so went down that root instead of having the needle in my stomach..
