Tips on getting a toddler to stop biting.?

Hi guys I know it's normal for a toddler to bit, but my son is constantly doing it and hurting others. I feel like I've tried everything and he doesn't stop. Any mommas dealt and successfully killed the biting habit?

My daycare and I used time outs. At home he went to the bed or the corner as soon as he bit, with a firm “no we do not bite go sit by yourself until you can deal with this better.” It was a much bigger issue at daycare because there were a couple others that also bit and they kept going back and forth, there he had an initial timeout then had to sit immediately next to the caregiver for the rest of the day. It was tough and took like 2 months, I always felt guilty when he bit others even though they were biting him right back.
