Is it normal to have a swollen vulva gland? I've google, it started off as a pimple and now I'm in so much pain and it's swollen to the size of a gold ball. Google says it's a Bartholin gland cyst. Is there another way to remove it expect for invasive surgery.

My doctor admitted me. Heading to theatre tomorrow morning. On a course of antibiotics right now .

Got the cyst removed and was given a heavy dose of antibiotics in hospital then a brand to take home (1000mg) for five days twice a day. My experience with antibiotics is they end up moving AF. Make me horribly nauseated and just out of it. But it's all for the greater good.

Can anyone recommend anything on wound care? The doctor did not stick and urinating stings when it touches that area, no matter how much water I've drunk or how much I wash up after. Doctor said it would take two weeks to heal up and honestly I'd love to just be able to take a shower without flinching.
