Help! Milk drying up, need to bring it back ASAP!

So these past 10 days I was going back and forth to the hospital cus my FIL was hospitalized and he unfortunately psssed away. During this time I wasn’t able to pump as much or BF as much. I couldn’t bring my baby with me. And I’m now down to pumping maybe an ounce to 1.5 oz per session. And my baby’s is having a hard time latching.

Any suggestions on what I can do to bring it back ASAP?

So far im doing the following:

1. Power pumping 2-3x a day

2. Hydrating- gallon a day

3. Honest co bf vitamins

4. Homemade lactation cookies with brewers yeast

5. Trying to bf and get my baby to latch again. She’s only 5 weeks. I can’t let my supply dry up. It wasn’t great to start with but it was enough. Now it’s not. 🤦‍♀️

TIA!!

i know they have been suggesting reglan to breastfeeding moms but i have a story about that medicine that i hope will help you guys. so first off this medicine has a black label warning on it. the story is that my bf was dealing with some medical issues and the zofran he was given didn’t do anything but make him dizzy. so they gave him reglan and it was only about 5 dosages he had and he had a horrible reaction. he didn’t know how i was, couldn’t look at me he kept looking at the ceiling, then it eventually turned into that his muscles were spasming and his neck was locked to the side. there have been many many stories of side effects. if you’re having hard time latching and milk supply please contact a lactation consultant and try other things other than reglan. everyone is different and you might have a reaction and not be able to function to take care of your baby 😭

Hydrate, make sure you are eating enough calories, and pump every 3 hours for at least 15-20 minutes. For whatever reason the blue Gatorade seems to help. And lastly, try fo relax. I notice whenever I feel stressed I do not produce as much. Hang in there!
