Another Ultrasound?

Yesterday, we went in for our anatomy scan with our little girl. 18 weeks on the dot! Today, I got a call saying they want to see me back in 4-6 weeks. I've called my doctor to go over the results but can't get a call back until tomorrow and now I'm beyond worried.. Did anybody else have to go back for another ultrasound so soon? If so, why? Is it normal procedure or could there be something wrong?

That just sounds like normal time for the next appointment.

It could also be just that they couldn’t get a picture of something. If your dr didn’t call you right away, I probably would try not to worry too much about it. That’s obviously easier said than done.

Maybe he means to see you as a normal prenatal checkup in 4-6 weeks? I don’t get another ultrasound until 36 weeks. I wouldn’t worry. They had to call me about my results a couple days later. They were normal. My doctor just needed time to look through the 130 pictures she took.

I have to go back in 2 weeks (at 22 weeks) bc baby wasn’t in a position for us to get a good look at her face (head down facing my back) so they want me to come back just to finish up.  Nothing concerning on the rest of the scan she just didn’t want to cooperate, I’m sure it’s something as simple as that.
