To take baby to the store as long as they are covered up ?? I left his car seat completely covered and didn’t touch anything and used hand sanitizer everytime I thought of it!

My daughter was in target, uncovered, at less than three days old 🤷‍♀️ she's two years now and has had two colds in her life. No other sicknesses except the airway defect she was born with (that she outgrew at six months).

I’m gonna look batshit crazy to you.... we took our son out when we was just 5 days old.. we took him across state lines to a child’s birthday with over 2 dozen 5-6 year olds and over a dozen adults at 6 weeks old. He’s been around MANY different people, hundreds of stores, and a plethora of dogs... and that was before he was two months old. He’s 6.5 months now and we still do the same, the only time we take “precautions” is at the pediatrician when there are sick kids around. Let your child build up their immune system

Yes it’s fine. I went to target the day we left the hospital. I needed to get nipple shields. But I had her covered in the car seat and everything was fine

My son is 7 weeks and I bring him everywhere I go. Except if there is someone sick Who I know will be close to us .. Before 1yr, your baby is on "your" immune system, as theirs isn't quite developped. You have to expose your child at a certain point for them to build their system Up !
