I used to have pretty good skin but I started getting acne on my cheeks a few months ago and it's only been getting worse. I've tried like 20 different over the counter acne products but nothing works. My doctor gave me antibiotics and I've been taking it for 3 weeks without much improvement. My doctor wants me to go on Accutane but I already have dry skin and Im scared to make it worse by going on Accutane. Also I heard that you can't drink alcohol while your on it. But I have this lit spring break trip planned where I'm gonna drink a lot so I can't be on the medication then. Also I'm going to university this fall which means a LOT of partying.

Does anyone else suffer from acne and overcame it? Please share some of the things that helped you deal with acne.

Also anyone who has taken accutane please tell me your experiences with it.
