Will progesterone mess up my bbt tracking?

Question

I am 9 or 10 dpo on first cycle of clomid and went in for blood work today to confirm that I ovulated. The doc said I did but my progesterone levels were a little lower than they’d like to ensure a good thick lining so he is having me do progesterone suppositories. Will this artificially keep my bbt high even if AF is coming or is it unrelated?

I’m on my first month of progesterone and my post-O temps are definitely higher than previous months.

I have been on 100mg for five months now. I haven’t really noticed a difference in bbt. My temp still drops a day or two before af.

Now that I’ve done a bit more research I kinda think this is pointless. I don’t think I have low progesterone. I think we just didn’t catch an egg and p is dropping because AF is coming. My luteal phase is usually 12-13 days and tomorrow will be day 11. 😢
