Im 23 weeks pregnant and I’ve gained 27 lbs! ... i went to get an ultrasound last week and this nurse looked at me and said ‘And you’ve gained 27 lbs already?’ My doct hasn’t said anything like worried but idk i just felt bad .

I always tell moms who worry about this, so long as you are eating healthy, the weight gain doesn’t matter so much. I gained 51 pounds with my first and lost it all by 2 months pp. my dr wasn’t worried at all! I just was retaining water, and wasn’t high risk or had any issues. Sometimes you just stack on the weight. 😊just eat healthy and don’t worry so much about the scale!

I'm 27 weeks and about 35lbs up. I move my body daily and have a wonderfully healthy diet. My body gets so big when I get pregnant. It is what it is. Worry more about what you put in your body and how you move it rather than how much it weighs.

I gained 40 pounds my first pregnancy, which is about one pound a week. My doctor wasn’t worried at all, and I ended up losing it all within six months after I had the baby.

I’m 29+5 & I’ve only gained about 5 pounds. I’m sure it depends from person to person. If your doctor hasn’t mentioned anything I don’t think you should worry much.

What was your start weight? Everyone is different, your doc will tell you if there'sa problem

If your doc isn’t worried then you should be fine. I lost 20 in my first trimester (nausea and vomiting, yay!) and just gained 5 back over the past month. I’m 26w 6d.
