Baby food at 3 mos
FTM and my daughter is 3 mos and 2 wks, she’s ebf, she’s been showing signs of being ready for food for a few weeks now and they are just getting stronger. It’s to the point I can’t eat in front of her or she cries (stares at the food, moves her mouth like she’s chewing, leaning towards food, and this is even after nursing). She used to eat every 2 hours but now it’s more like 1 hr 20 mins, she stuffs herself, throws up, and then wants fed more. I thought it might be a growth spurt but it’s been goin on for weeks and I feel so bad for her, like my milk is not doing enough for her.
Her next dr appt is not for a couple weeks and I plan on bringing all of this up to her pediatrician...I just have a feeling they are going to tell me to wait for 6 mos like most recommend.
Looking for advice from ppl experienced in feeding their baby food before the recommended 6 mos. How did you know they were ready? And what did you start with?
