Starting Birth Control

My appointment with my doctor to start birth control is tomorrow (i’m planning on the pill but i’m not sure if that’s what i’ll get) I had to take plan B yesterday because I had a failed condom recently. Should I tell my doctor I took plan B?

Also, is there anything else i should know or talk to my doctor about
