So...a group of friends is throwing me a shower. I have a registry on Amazon but that's really just a personal shopping list so I don't feel comfortable sharing that... there are things that I need... my first is 3.5 years old so not too much but I just don't know what to ask for/not ask for...I need another baby gate & a rock n play...but I'm not going to ask for those things. I ended up saying diapers/wipes, shampoo/lotions, clothes (I gave away 0-6 months during a flood), bottle nipples, changing pad liners, baby towels /wash cloths... which I felt weird asking for because I "should" already have those things but they mildew, ripped, gave away, etc... and I don't really NEED them to purchase these things for me but I understand allowing them to do something nice. I just get awkward with these things.
