Is it over? Should i be concerned?

My husband is trying to switch careers and find a way to make passive income. He has no idea what he wants to do, just that he wants to leave the job he currently has. He's exploring so many options and everyday comes up with a new idea. Which I get (he's trying to figure it out) well last night he came to the room to tell me he wanted to spend a HUGE sum of money on this one course that will offer him mentorship and guidance in real state investment. I freaked out because it was a large sum of money. Long story short we got into an argument and tonight he tells me I discouraged him because we don't see "eye to eye" and I don't support his vision. I feel really bad because In no way I was trying to discourage him. I obviously just didn't see the same value as he did. Now he tells me that thanks to me he doesn't know what he wants to do and that he can't talk to me about these things, and that we can't get on the same page or pretty much work as a team. I'm heartbroken to say the least. I think we have a few underlying issues we need to work on and we probably need to see a counselor or something but he's so stubborn and has said we don't need it. :(
