We had my step kids here today(boy and girl) and we had told them that they were having another night with their mom (a HCBM) so instead of 5 days it would be six. And the night goes on, and yeah the kids are a little off, but thats normal for mid-late in the week when they are about to go back to hers. But when we go to put the kids to bed, the girl breaks down crying and the boy goes into a depressive state. My fiancé stepped out of the room to call her and ask about changing it back to the normal 5 days and she flat out refused, all

the while I was cuddling this sweet sobbing girl in my arms and just trying to soothe her, making sure she knew that we loved her, making sure that she knew we wanted her and when we went in to say goodnight to the boy we did the same thing. And right now I just flat out hate her, really hate her. Her children were crying and upset and she didn’t care. The only thing she cared about was how she felt. And I am just so furious at her and so sad for those kids, because it was so clear that they wanted to stay with us for another night.

Update: The kids are twins and 7... sadly it will be a while before they really get to have a choice...

Update: And now she’s not even picking them up on time and probably won’t get them till almost six... by now they could have been at ours having dinner and relaxing.
