I am 24 days pp and had a lateral episiotomy. I am still bleeding pretty regularly and the spot where I have stitches has started to itch. I have not been scratching it but tonight when I peed I wiped and felt a bit of pain and brushed my finger over the area and felt a raised scar like feeling and a "string" that I assume is part of my stitches. But the string felt a little long and I though the stitches would have dissolved by now. I'm worried that something is wrong. Had anyone felt anything like this before.

I can't get a good look at it tonight but will investigate in the morning. In the mean time I'm worried that my under parts are permanently damaged >.<
