Sweep? Induction?

Question

3 days until due date.
Doctors appointment tomorrow.
Are sweeps effective?
Are sweeps different from stripping and/or swabbing?
Scared of the intensity of inductions...

Sweeps are basically harmless, it doesn’t hurt to try it. They have not been successful for me but everyone is different!

Try a sweep first. I had mine 2 days ago and still pregnant. But worth the try before induction

I’m due tomorrow. I had my appointment yesterday, and they couldn’t even give me a sweep before I wasn’t dilated enough. She tried to stimulate my cervix to get things going but it just made me crampy and sore. 
I’d say go for the sweep if you can, it won’t hurt to try and avoid induction.
