Opinions on birth control. What’s the best option?

Hey ladies! I’m looking into birth control. I’m in a new relationship and want to be safe when having sex. I’ve never been in birth control and always used just a condom and avoid my ovulating days. 
What’s the best birth control in your opinion?

Took the pill 5 years. After I got married, we decided to try for a baby. I stopped taking the pill mid-January, and got pregnant the first of March. I started the pill soon after baby was born. We decided to try again a couple years later, and got pregnant in the same amount of time. I know you’re worried about the opposite, but one day if you do want to have kids, in my opinion this is the easiest method to stop whenever you want/need to without side effects or infertility.

Personally I hate chemical birth control. But I've been with the same guy over 13 years now and if we were to get pregnant (which we're currently trying to do) it would be okay. 
I've used natural family planning or fertility awareness for 9 years now and we've only had 1 unexpected pregnancy, the one that ended un miscarriage 3 months ago. When I'm fertile, we use condoms.

I loved the Skyla IUD. It was painful going in and coming out, but worth it. I didn’t have to think about a thing and actually stopped getting my period, which was lovely. Had it taken out when I was ready to have a baby and was able to get pregnant.

I was on the pill for 12 years. We would use condoms the first week after my period to make sure the pill could work it’s way in my system again. Never had a issue.
