Birth control- late period?

Question

hey uh i’m on birth control and my period was supposed to start 2 days ago, but nothing has happened.
i haven’t done anything remotely sexual in months- not even kissing so unless it’s immaculate conception, there’s no way i’m pregnant.
does anybody possibly know why my period may be late?

How long have you been taking birth control? It may be because of your body getting used to it.

If it’s a new birth control, it takes time to get use too. Also, even if you are on birth control your period can be late due to stress, new foods, new exercise etc. Anything can make a period late.
