Okay I need to rant!!

Grandma stops by and hands me a envelope.

There’s a nice note on some pretty paper and then tickets for a ballet.

It’s so incredibly sweet and kind of her to think of a girls day. It would make her so happy if we all went to this every LONG ballet.... and I really do love ballets! And I’m sure she would say “baby can hear the music from the orchestra!”. But one issue, she didn’t talk to any of us first before purchasing tickets AND it’s on APRIL 16th!!

Can I even sit through an almost 2.5-3 hour ballet with only one intermission at 36 weeks pregnant?! Will I really even feel good enough to go? I’ll be 8 months pregnant. This is my first baby, I don’t know what to expect and how to feel!!! It’s not even like I could slip out of my seat to go to the lobby if I don’t feel great and come back. If I need to pee before the intermission they won’t let me back into the hall until the intermission starts... so I’ll miss however long of the ballet. How can I even sneak out politely at 8 months pregnant with the seats she got?! 😭

What am I suppose to do?! 😫

Suck it up and go to make her happy?

Tell her now and make her upset that I dont want to go... for reasons she won’t believe are valid reasons.

My mom May have to breaks the news to her 🙄
