Seizure like movements?

Question

So I’m 26 weeks and baby boy is super active, non stop and very strong movements like punching/kicking and rolling but I’ve also had really strong “flutters” almost like he’s shaking violently and fast. Does this strong “flutter” feeling happen to anyone else and do u think it’s normal or seizure related?
I will bring this up at my next appt but wanted to see if anyone else felt this.

I’ve had this!! I heard it was baby stretching. You know how when you stretch you shiver an little?

I’ve had similar feelings and would love to follow this thread! My boy moves around SO much and so crazy and fast...it’s not just kicks or stretches!

I’m having these exact same feelings!! I’m honestly starting to get concerned! I’m bringing it up at the next appt.  but based on the comments and having so many people say it’s happening to them, must be normal? 🤔

I have this too and was a bit confused by it at first! After researching it, I think it’s normal and it even seems to be quite common. Nobody seems to be sure what causes it exactly but there are a lot of doctors who think it’s probably then testing out a healthy new nervous system. Certainly go ahead and ask your midwife but it seems normal from my research so hopefully that reassures you a little :) x

I had this with my first and was worried but he turned out totally fine. I’ve felt it a couple times this go-around and am not worried.

I feel something similar but I know that it’s hiccups is it possible that your feeling them as well it’s like a rhythmic shaking feeling that doesn’t stop sometimes for over 5 mins

I've been having that same feeling. Especially when I'm trying to go to bed. My significant other was worried about it.

It’s normal. It’s important for them to move on all crazy ways because it’s allowing their muscles to develop

This freaked me out with my first pregnancy. Second time around around this baby does it too. Doc said it’s normal and assumingely the baby is stretching
