Thought you were meeting a friend, tricked into an MLM instead?
There was an article in the Washington Post about women trading on their social relationships for their MLMs, and the heartache that's caused for women who thought they were reconnecting with a friend, only to be given a hard sell for joining an MLM.
Has this ever happened to you? I do have some old school friends who have gotten involved with MLMs, and one in particular is pretty relentless with it on social media, but she's never lured me to something in order to pitch me, so I can't say I've experienced what the article describes.
