So I’m 22 weeks pregnant today with baby #2.

My first born was 5&1/2 weeks early. (Born at 34 &1/2 weeks.)

That being said, the doctors are worried I will have another preterm labor. My doctors didn’t pay attention to my weeks going by, so we missed the chance to stitch my cervix. 😒🙄

Now they want me to start progesterone shots tomorrow, and continue to get them weekly here on out.

BUUUUUUT I’m not going to lie, I DO NOT want to go all the way to 40 weeks, I’m hoping to have him by 38 weeks. But my doctors won’t agree to a scheduled induction.

Have any of you had progesterone shots before? If so, did they really help keep that baby in your belly? When did you end up going into labor? Did the shots have any side effects on you?

I just really want more info about this, and the doctor I saw today was not very helpful or very “nice” about talking on the subject.

I need as much help as I can get. Please ladies. 😞
