Wondering if I should get a membrane sweep next week when my OB offers it. I have an appointment on Thursday afternoon and she said she can do a sweep at that time, however, I am having my baby far out of town (1700km away from home) and my husband isn't arriving until Friday night. Should I get the sweep done and risk going into labor before my husband gets here or decline until the following week. I know it doesn't work for everyone and it can take some time to work. I would like to go into labor as soon as my husband gets here because he only has so much time off before going back to work, but I don't want to go into labor before he gets here.. Any advice? What would you do?
