What is happening??

Question

I’ve been spotting since this weekend and thought my period was starting but the bleeding has stayed very light. My periods are very irregular so I have no idea when AF is due or when I ovulated. 
Today I got this. Is it possible to be spotting and get a faint positive? I’m so confused and kind of freaking out.

I see a line!  I’m actually in the same boat, I have been spotting the past two days when AF was due today.  I would say wait two days and take another test, they says hgc doubles every 48 hours.  I know it’s frustrating but hang in there!
