If your 2 yr old has pneumonia, ear infections, and was going to have surgery but you had a business trip at the same time which would you do? (You were obligated to go on the business trip but are kind of your own boss so although people would be disappointed you could cancel.)

Option 1. Cancel trip. The child comes first.

Option 2. Go on trip. The child’s dad will be there and can take care of it.

Not my situation but curious how others would handle it.
