Has anyone had what they thought was a period but it turned out to be implantation?

I got a bfn on the 16th and then the 18th of January.

Then later on the 18th af arrived, a day or two earlier than expected. (However I’ve not quite got back to my normal since my miscarriage in September.) It only lasted 2/3 days and was very dark and had quite a bit of mucus. I remember thinking it was light and over quickly, but didn’t think anything more. Now I’m wondering if it was some implantation bleeding, which I’ve not experienced before.

A few days later and I’m in agony with my boobs! I’ve been ill so I wasn’t sure if my lymph nodes were up; but now I’m wondering if I could be pregnant?

It seems weird testing when I’m cd 8, and my partner and I are starting to try for this cycle! I don’t have any tests left at home, so I’ll be going to the shop to get a test.

Is this possible or just wishful thinking? Any similar stories?
