Gosh I’m getting so tired of saying this every month, and I’m sure some of you ladies can agree. I have been trying to conceive #2 for almost 3 years now. Was very hopeful this month, so many things pointed to a positive outcome. Had very light pink spotting yesterday morning which made me very hopeful it was IB since I was 10dpo. Af not expected till Monday. Now I’m having some mild cramping, and spotting again, but the amount is increasing. So now I know that af is just arriving early to shatter my dreams yet again.

TTC is the hardest thing to do. If my son didn’t want a sibling so bad, I would just give up. All his cousins have siblings and he’s an only child. So I know it breaks his heart cause he wants that special buddy to go through life with. He asks me everyday if I have a baby sis in my belly for him yet 😭 it honestly hurts my heart to say no to him everyday!

So hoping that one day soon when he asks me the question, I will finally be able to tell him yes and not break his loving heart anymore. I hope God and St. Gerard will hear my prayers and answer them for me and my family.

O good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor

Before God and wonder-worker of our day,

I call on You and seek Your help.

You who on earth did always fulfill God’s design,

Help me to do the Holy Will of God.

Beseech the Master of Life,

From whom all paternity proceeded,

To make me fruitful in offspring,

That I may raise up children to God

In this life and heirs to the Kingdom

Of His glory in the world to come.
