So long story: I dated this guy in 7-8th grade and since it’s a small town I still hung out with him and he meant a lot to me even though we were so little when we dated. Well we are older and just graduated high school last year. My family always jokes about how we should date again. So a while I ago I tried talking to him and it was going well until my ex made him stop talking to me (I know he is a child) so then after we all graduated I decided to send him a picture of this locket he gave me in 8th grade that I kept and he said it was funny I still had it and the conversation kind of ended there. Now last night he texted me this picture of himself from 8thgrade of him holding present I had got him and said his cousin just sent that picture to him. So I texted back saying wow “I really treated you well 😂” and he just said I know haha. So now I’m stuck if I should just leave at that again or if I should just go for it and text him even if he has left me on read. What should I do?!
