How much of your family do you know?

So basically anytime I go to the doctor’s they ask about my family history but I’m now realizing I have no idea about my history 🤔 I don’t know my dad’s side at all and I only know my mom’s mom’s side, does that make sense? So essentially I only know 1/4 of my family. How much do you know? How common is this?

My dad has 18, (yes 18) brothers and sisters, I don’t even know all of my aunts and uncles let alone the massive families that my grandparents came from. My mom has 9 brothers, and I only know 5. Sooooo 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know like 1/8 of my family if you’re counting all of my cousins and everything

You can add the crazy on top of that of what your family has bothered to tell you. I'd been having chronic abdominal pain and none of the doctors knew why. After almost a year of this shit, my mom tells me her aunt died at 30 of ovarian cancer. I'm 29.
