How much mucus comes out?

When you lose your mucus plug, how much comes out? I just went to the bathroom and it was about a tablespoon. Does it call come at once?

It can come out in chunks so that could have been a piece of it

According to the internet it is usually 4-5cm long and totaling about 1oz. There seems to be a lot of variation though.

I've lost it in chunks this pregnancy but when k have lost it previously it came put as one big piece the size of the palm of my hand
