I did what I felt like doing. Caught a lot of crap and judgement for getting back on the horse too soon. But I’ve never paid opinions much mind. It’s my life not theirs.

As long as it takes you to heal and become happy and healthy physically and emotionally. You should be in a place where you are comfortable with your own company and being alone. If you jump into something new because you’re lonely or because it makes you feel good you can easily begin to rely on others to make you feel good and it can become unhealthy before you realize what’s happening. Especially coming out of a toxic relationship you need to take some time to find joy in yourself.

Give yourself time if you need it.
When I left my emotionally abusive ex it took me a while. Like over a month before I felt like maybe hanging out with someone... i didn't feel attracted to anyone for a minute. 
My last relationship ended really recently and im not over it but I already have a date 😂
I move fast! Im polyamourous, so loving multiple people isn't really a barrier for me.
But my very toxic relationship made me quite sick & I was really scared of dating again.
Unfortunately, I dated someone else who couldn't respect me or my boundaries like I expect... :( 
He was getting really manipulative too and it was hard for me to cope with. 
I found other ppl attractive before it was completely over lol

I think it’s too soon if you’re still emotional and have to talk all about it to a new guy.
