Sudafed pe pressure pain?

My dr told me I could take sudafed but didnt say what kind

Look for pseudoephedrine, not phenylephrine.

Mydoctor said just regular old sudafed. Just like robitussin just oroginal .

My midwives said to take “plain Sudafed” specifically not Sudafed PE. There is an ingredient in the PE that can restrict blood flow to the baby. You have to buy the plain Sudafed at the pharmacy counter though. It won’t be on the shelves. 
And make sure it isn’t the 12 or 24 hour kind because the dosage on that is too high. 
I had to go to two different pharmacies to find it. But cvs has their own version and it worked great.
