1 month old constipation? FTM, I need help

So my baby is 1 month old and only has a bowel movement every 3 days. He is breastfed and so I know it can be totally normal. HOWEVER the longer it goes the more fussy he gets. Plus, when he does poop it is a blow out because there’s SO much. Any advice?

That sounds really normal, you bub doesn’t sound constipated. My son would only go every 5 days or so, and it would go everywhere! Hubby and I would always joke around the 4th day that we were due to throw out another singlet soon!
As long as the poo isn’t hard when it comes out, but is fine

Every time my little girl goes it’s a blow out she poop every 4-5days it’s normal for breastfed babies.. if babies stomach is hard that’s when you know they constipated, gas can cause a baby to be fussy my daughter a very gassy baby and gets fussy but soon as she farts or burps she feel so much better. 😊

They sell constipation drops at Walgreens for babies they work perfectly fine I used this with my baby (:!

My son was going 5-7 days in between bowel moments for a couple of months. It’s technically not considered constipation unless it’s hard balls when they finally go. My doctor just had me do the simple stuff you’ve probably already tried. Bicycle kicks, tummy massage, warm baths, and if you get absolutely desperate she suggested apply even taking his temp rectally as it could trigger his muscles to release. She warned it could get messy if I went that route luckily any time I started considering it he’d go and I wouldn’t have to.
