Symptoms of twins?

Question

Just wondering if anyone who has conceived with twins had any indication that they had more than one fetus inside of them? Ultrasound is scheduled in 3 more weeks, then I'll be 10 weeks. I've had SO much commotion  (tons of butterflies! ) in my belly and was just curious if you've conceived and actually had more than one. And yes, twins runs on both sides of my family.

With my twins the only difference I noticed is...pulling and stretching of the uterine muscles pretty early on and earlier flutters in my lower belly then with a singleton. I carried twin girls. I felt really good the whole pregnancy and had NO morning sickness at all. I lost about 10lbs in the first trimester tho I was eating just fine. And trouble sleeping...OMG getting comfortable with 2 babies moving around is tough! Other then that it was an easy pregnancy until the last 3 months. With my single son tho I was miserable throughout the whole pregnancy. Morning sickness and back pain and sore boobs and muscle cramps in the legs. Totally different. So at this point you shouldnt necessarily know your having twins by symptoms. Mainly I just felt the cramping and pulling of the muscles from my uterus growing quickly and flutters earlier than you would with a single baby. Ive heard some people say they had morning sickness from hell and of course I never had that so Idk. But good luck! If you are having twins...mine were narural fraternal...get ready for some dumb questions...and make a sign or shirt or something now that says "heres your sign"! People say and do some dumb stuff to moms of twins...I cant tell you how many times people stopped me pushing a twin stroller with 2 girls dressed in matching clothes and asked if they were twins...Nope it was buy one and get one free at the hospital nursery!!! Or a stranger asks "Can I hold one"? Ummm really? And thats just the beginning! People are quick to reach a hand inside of your stroller to touch them or offer a hand to hold a baby when your carrying 2 but not offer help for groceries! Mine were 5 weeks premature so I was very cautious as to whom touched my kids because of getting them sick or giving them rsv. And people just dont understand that. But I really dont have much to say when your in the first trimester its pretty standard. Towards the 3 trimester is when you can really tell your carrying 2! GL!

I conceived twin girls naturally as it runs in my family. I had no idea I was carrying more then one baby until my 9th week ultra sound. I was amazed however I can tell you this I had hyperemsis. I was constantly in the hospital with iv bags. It was so mad, worse the regular old morning sickness. With my second pregnancy I carried one baby and I had the normal morning sickness. Good luck!!

I want to know too... Both sides here to! My mom has a twin brother and I have a fraternal twin sister!!! I'm 9 weeks hoping for ultrasound Wednesday!!! Very curious!!!
