Sterilization

I've been doing research about different types of sterilization for women. Has anyone had them done? I'm 100% certain I don't want kids of my own, I want to adopt. Partially because my mother nearly died while pregnant with me. The other part is based on the number of children I've seen and known who were bounced around in foster care, never really having a home. I know I can't hangs the world by adopting, but I could change the world of the children who I plan to adopt. Can anyone tell me how their surgeries went and post pictures of their scares? Or if you have had the coils put in, please tell me about them. How much did your surgery cost?
