?? Residual HCG !!!!UPDATE

Went to my first visit at my obs office during my consultation and history the nurse said she doesnt think I’m pregnant. She said it’s likely I have left over HCG from my chemical pregnancy last month and that I haven’t had a true period 😞😕. I’m a lost for words . WTH I didn’t even know that was possible. I had lab done today and Monday . Any one heard of this!!!!!!

See tomorrow if I’ve doubled I’m definitely pregnant puts me at 6 weeks

They told me the exact same thing. I had a chemical pregnancy last month on the 17th at 5 weeks and never had a period had a positive pregnancy test on 01/10 and my levels came back 46 a week later they were 2,289. So a NEW pregnancy without a period is very possible don’t stress.

I've had a miscarriage at 6w3d and it took 2 weeks before my tests were negative. I'm not sure of what your timeline was, but HCG sticks around for a while. I was surprised. Maybe they are wrong, though and there is another baby 🤞

I had a MC back at the end of November and we immediately got pregnant again with no menstrual cycle in between. I was also treated like crap by a lady at a clinic who wouldn't acknowledge this as a new pregnancy. Basically my timeline was: 
MC ended Nov.30~
Negative pregnancy test 12/24
Positive pregnancy test 12/28
I'm now 8 wks~ and just had my first ultrasound and heard that glorious heartbeat! Dont let it get to you momma, keep testing! 💜

I had heavy bleeding at 4 wks in October! Clotting and cramps as well! After a stopped bleeding I still felt off and tested! Tests were darker! I had blood work done at 5 wks 2 and 4 days! First was 131 second was 350! Doctor told me all was well! Six weeks spotting came back, went to doctor and levels dropped to 40 and they said I was MC! Bled heavy for another week without cramps! All the HCG was out of my system by the end of what would have been my 7th week! Did you test immediately after your MC? What was your level at your first apt? If you have tested recently did the lines progress? IMO doctors and nurses are clueless about the female body, they go by text books which the female body doesn’t follow!
