Light Period on Birth Control?

Hey guys, so usually when I get my period it’s normally pretty heavy. This week though, it’s been extremely light and I’m not sure why. I’m taking the combination pill and I’m on my placebo week right now. Has this happened to anyone else before?

I went from having light-medium periods that lasted 7+ days and were irregular to medium-heavy periods that only last 3 or 4 days (every six months or so I'll get lucky with a two day period 🙌🏻) and come on like clockwork. The point of the kind of birth control you're on is to alleviate your periods and make them "easier" to deal with - whatever that means for your body. Generally what you are experiencing is the norm, not what I have.
