Metformin Advice Please!

Hi ladies. Just wondering if any of you had the same promblem. I’m on metformin to try help me ovulate. I was told to take 500mg once a day for 2 weeks then go to 1000mg a day. Every time I try and up the dose from 500mg to 1000mg I become bedridden..dizzy..vomiting non stop..unbearable nausea. After a couple of days I end up having to go back down to 500mg. It’s the second attempt and I’ve had to stop again. Will 500mg even help? Or am I wasting my time. 126pounds..could this be why I’m reacting so bad to a higher dose.
